First Training Session: 5-12-12

Hundreds of onlookers got their first glimpse at the world-famous Nik Wallenda training on a high-wire at Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel.  Nik got in two good 15-minute stretches during his morning session (10:30 a.m. to noon), with a slight delay in between due to too much spin on the wire.  (Engineers fixed the issue by placing a weight on the wire.)

At the daily press debriefing at noon, Nik — ever the entertainer — finished questions with the media and then unexpectedly turned the mic over to the public for questions.  Nik said he will gladly open up questions to the public for every debriefing.

Later today (from 3:30 to 5 p.m.), Nik will walk closer to the Seneca Niagara Casino hotel tower and will also try to walk the entire length of the rope.  Stay tuned!  In the meantime, we’ll let the following videos and photos tell the rest of the story…

  1. Helpful information. Lucky me I discovered your web site unintentionally, and I’m shocked why this coincidence didn’t happened in advance! I bookmarked it.
